Current Projects
In 2008 I joined David Karoly’s climate group at the University of Melbourne. I’m working on developing reconstructions of south-eastern Australia’s long-term rainfall and temperature histories using old colonial documents, palaeoclimate records (e.g. tree-rings, corals) and early weather station data.
By night, I’m a part-time student in the Diploma of Professional Writing and Editing program at Melbourne’s RMIT University. Currently I’m working on a creative non-fiction book to bring Australia’s climate history to life for non-scientific audiences.
